Mahan Biotechnology Knowledge-Based Company started its research and development activities in 2010 with the participation of the pioneer of probiotic supplements industry (Danesh Bonyan Bio-fermentation Company) and with the aim of acquiring technical knowledge for producing probiotic supplements for livestock, poultry and aquatic animals. This company was established in 2015 with the aim of industrial production after acquiring the technical knowledge of producing these products and isolating probiotic microorganisms from the country's native sources and registering them in the World Biotechnology Information Center (NCBI).
Also, this collection has succeeded in inventing a very efficient method, considering the current facilities of the country in making probiotic products by spray-drawing method and its design. This complex has been able to produce high quality probiotic products by equipping production halls, quality control and support with world standards.
