Etihad Gilan Animal Feed Production Company in 2001 with the participation of the livestock farmers' unions of Iran and Gilan province and livestock farmers' cooperatives in the cities of: Rasht, Langrod, Rudsar, Lahijan, Amalesh, Foman, Masal, Anzali, Shaft, Chabaksar and Talash with the aim of producing all kinds of concentrates. Gilan Etihad Animal Feed Company supplies the needs of livestock farmers to 19 livestock cooperative companies in the cities of Gilan province through more than 60 sales agents, and also has close cooperation with a number of industrial livestock farmers, ostrich breeding centers, etc. Using its human resources facilities such as veterinarians, animal nutritionists, it also provides necessary support and consultations to these centers and agencies for free.
The experimental production of all kinds of livestock concentrates of this company started at the end of 2005 based on the demand of the cooperative companies of livestock farmers of the province and in 2006 with the production capacity of 10 tons per hour and in fact 24,000 tons per year.
