The director of this chain –Mr. Ghadir Salehi- launched his career in 1981 by establishing a 100-cow dairy farm, which is still in operation and supplies milk and meat to its customers. In 1999, the first phase of livestock concentrate production was brought into operation and "Khorak Dam & Teuor & Abzian Saleh Kashmar company" was founded, which is currently one of the largest animal feed manufacturing factories in Iran. it is noteworthy that in those days, the use of concentrates for livestock was not very common, and dairy farmers faced many challenges for providing high-quality feed. Successful production of bovine concentrates paved the way for Saleh Kashmar to be selected as the top producer in the country in 2001. Thanks to their great efforts, the first poultry ready-made feed production line was installed in Saleh Kashmar.
Success in producing high-quality ready-made food finally increased the popularity of poultry ready-made feed all over the country. In 2004, the company was able to get standard documentations for poultry and dairy cattle's feed and also the international ISO 9002 certification for livestock and poultry feed production for the first time in Iran. In 2006 the company was awarded a title of "the top quality unit" by "Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran". In addition it was bestowed a title of "the top provincial Entrepreneur" by "Department of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare" in 2007; also in 2008 it was selected as "the top regional manufacturer" by "Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Khorasan Razavi Province".
Considering the high quantity of feed production in Saleh Kashmar's factories, the importance of products' packaging, also with regard to Inaccessibility of polypropylene sacks, the Internal Commercial Department of Saleh Kashmar launched a sacks' sewing and printer line in September 2006. This line has the capacity of producing 30,000 PP and laminated bags with a variety of colors and weights per day; and it supplies requirements of Saleh Kashmar as well as a number of other factories in the region.
In 2009, Saleh Kashmar installed the first line of Full Fat Soybean production for the first time in Iran. Advent of this product resulted in saving a lot of currency for the country. In 2011, the company established a new production line of mineral and vitamin supplements, a production line of flaked concentrate for domestics and also a production line of cubic form feed. At the moment over 100 people are working directly in this factory.
