SOLON is the solar pioneer from Germany - originally founded in 1996. With the Mover, the first industrially manufactured solar tracker system, SOLON wrote solar history worldwide in 2004. For its high-quality modules and pioneering systems, SOLON has received the Intersolar Award several times. Today, two gigawatts of SOLON products and solar power plants generate environmentally friendly energy in all climate zones, on countless roofs and green meadows up to rugged mountain ridges. The decisive factor for SOLON was that the modules meet the highest quality and performance requirements. The systems also solved solar technology challenges that standard products could not address and thus contributed to making solar energy available anywhere at any time. The new European SOLON is supported by former SOLON employees. We bring two and a half decades of technological expertise to the development of our solutions. We conduct research using our own test fields and in collaboration with various scientific partners. The core market of the new SOLON brand is Europe. Independent SOLON companies exist in the USA and Asia. SOLON in Europe operates economically independently of these companies.
