About us :
For over 90 years we at PICARD & WIELPÜTZ have remained true to the Solingen tradition and continue to manufacture cutlery and sell them worldwide. The company was founded in 1927 by the economist Dr. Hans Wielpütz and the technician Erich Picard. After the death of Dr. Hans Wielpütz and the departure of the Picard family from the company, the daughter of Dr. Hans Wielpütz, Eva Schultes with her husband Hans Schultes as managing partner the management of the company Picard & Wielpütz and shaped it through their tireless commitment. At the end of the 1960s, Mr. Hans Schultes took over an automotive supplier and was responsible for two companies. We are all grateful to him for this great task and this courage. The company is now in the third generation of family ownership and is managed by managing partner Peter Schultes.
