    Index-Werke is a manufacturer of CNC lathes based in Esslingen am Neckar. In particular, the company produces automatic lathes, horizontal and vertical CNC lathes and turning-milling centers, CNC multi-spindle automatic lathes as well as short and long lathes. The company is active worldwide with five production sites, five international sales and service companies and 80 agencies. In 2012 the group employed 2100 people worldwide and achieved a consolidated turnover of approx. 430 million euros.
