The Dr. Willmar Schwabe GmbH & Co. KG is the parent company of the Schwabe Group and is also known as the Schwabe Group or the Schwabe Group. The pharmaceutical company was founded in Leipzig in 1865, started operations the following year and is family-owned. The headquarters were relocated to Karlsruhe in 1946. In the 1980s and 1990s, the company formed into a major global company through company foundings, acquisitions and investments. The Schwabe Group consists of 93 companies around the world with a total of 3,600 employees, 1,405 of them in Germany, including around 700 at the main company (status no : December 31, 2016).
