HUAYUAN was founded in 1995 by Mr. Guohua Tao who experienced in the Chinese Smart card and RFID industry growing up. He involving this industry from a huge prepaid system for the China Petroleum & Chemical Corp in 1992, and responsible for the first E-ticket in China for the AFC system for Shanghai Metro line 1 from 1994.

Mr. Tao graduated from the Shanghai University, majored in mechanics. He studied computer science and software engineering by himself. After five years of working as an engineer in a state-owned business, found HUAYUAN Electronic. at the Jan 1st 1995.
HUAYUAN had produced millions of smart card and created several huge IT system in China for government administration and management.
Tao had been the leader of Digital Printing Solution for Smart Card Personalization team to solve the technical solution with Indigo digital printing variable data with Hewlett and Packard China, preparing the solution for over 1 billion card of Chinees ID cards from 2005.
In 2006 HUAYUAN entered the European market introduced by commercial consultants and associations from European countries, provider RFID products for some huge European payment groups.
With RFID technology expanding into various fields all over the world. Our RFID products player an essential, efficient and precise role in a IT systems. RFID cards, tags, wristbands for identification of people, while RFID tags are for tracing and tracking assets in applications for logistics, automatic industry, retail, health care, mining and military.
In 2017, HUAYUAN had invested a company – HUAYUAN Tech GmbH to provide technical support and fast delivery for European customers, from RFID inlay design, onsite service.
