Your trust spurs us on to become even better. With our brands Schwartau Extra, Samt, Fruttissima, Hofladen and others, we are Germany's leading manufacturer of jams with a market share of 30 percent. We also occupy a market-leading position with our muesli bar brand Corny. Schwartauer Werke is part of the Hero Group, an international food company specializing in fruit products, baby food, muesli and fruit bars. The Hero Group was founded in 1886 and is headquartered in Lenzburg (Switzerland). The management of the Schwartauer Werke consists of Maximilian de Maizière, Jop Peek (Chairman) and Dr. Sebastian Portius. In addition to the headquarters, Bad Schwartau also has all three plants for the production of our fruit products and muesli bars. Our market shares are 30 percent jams, 53 percent muesli bars and 17 percent various products. We produce around 40,000 tons of jam, 140 million jars, 11,000 tons of muesli bars and around 375 million bars per year. We have been successfully operating our products on the market for over 100 years - we consider our roots in the company location in Schleswig-Holstein as an important key to success. We are closely connected to our homeland and feel obliged to make contributions to social development. We focus on the areas of education, sport and culture.
