  • About us :

Each one has a name, Rosi recognizes the ladies even if she only sees the udder.
All of our animals live in group pens, each cow, each cattle, each calf can decide for themselves whether they groom themselves with their best friend, let themselves be pampered by the massage brush, lie comfortably in the straw box or go to the 24-hour feed bar to eat.
From April to October / November our cows are outside in the pastures, in the hot months overnight to protect them from the annoying flies and mosquitoes. Since 1997 we have been at the Freiburg Minster Market 3 times a week.
Here we sell our own delicacies as well as cheese from family-run dairies in the Black Forest and Allgäu. We cultivate around 150 hectares of land
110 hectares of arable land are triticale, spring barley, grass clover (green rye) in 5-6 years of crop rotation and 40 hectares of meadows and pastures. The entire harvest remains for feeding our cows and the biogas plant on our farm. We are also committed to renewable energies . Two forms of this energy can be found on our farm. In agriculture there are always buildings with a lot of roof area. So it was natural to produce electricity with a photovoltaic system. We have installed a system on our warehouse and machine hall. This now produces green energy, of course when the sun is shining. Another source of renewable energy is the biogas plant. The structural change does not stop at organic agriculture. That is why we decided to build up another pillar and build a biogas plant. The installed power is 150kWel. We use the waste heat that arises as a "by-product" in our processing rooms, machine shop, and also in the living rooms. We also dry grain, wood chips, firewood and other products with the help of waste heat.Irma and Viktor Hauser left the "Städtle" and moved to the "Dögginger Buck" in the mid-1960s.
In the 80s, son Reinhard and Roswitha took over the farm.
It was expanded from 20 to 40 dairy cows. Reini and Rosi quickly felt the need to work in harmony with nature. The entire operating area was converted to organic farming. It was also a great wish to process and sell the milk produced ourselves - thought - done. At first they started experimenting with yoghurt and quark in the kitchen. After successful production results and the unmistakable good taste of our natural products, sales quickly grew beyond the kitchen production capacity. So we set up our own milk processing facility specifically for the processing of our milk. Through information and the thirst for new things, the decision was made in 1995 to sell preferred milk in bottles directly to consumers. This step was followed by the purchase of a refrigerated vehicle and a sales trailer, with which we are personally there for you at the market three times a week to this day.
Due to the strict laws and requirements of the Bioland Association, it was inevitable for us to convert the barn. Since 2001, our animals have been able to run around freely in the playpen in addition to their daily grazing in summer, as well as in winter. The farm is now run by Richard Hauser, who came up with the idea of bio-electricity very early on. He already has 200? The biogas plant was built and the photovoltaic system is currently being expanded. The next generation is already here! Max with sisters Mia and Kaja are at home at the Schwalbenhof and we are all excited about their ideas ...
