  • About us :

For 25 years now, we have stood for an agriculture that largely corresponds to the desire of society for responsible and sustainable treatment of animals and the environment. We are quite proud of the overall concept we have created - rearing young cattle, a very stable black and white dairy herd that produces its milk production without any feeding of concentrated feed or grain, and our management in almost closed cycles. Also on reliably supplying you with dairy products and meat of the highest organic quality. As tenants of the Hottenlocher Hof, we were happy to fulfill these tasks. We look back with pleasure on the development of our history and the path we have traveled together: From the first attempt in the cheese dairy to our wide range of products today with meat, sausage, cheese, cereals and, last but not least, our all-natural juices May we wanted to celebrate our 25th anniversary with all of you this year and set new impulses for the future. But it wasn't just the pandemic that thwarted our plans. We have been in negotiations with our landlord for some time. The signals for a common future are currently bad, although we have already tried everything that seemed conceivable to us. We do not want to lose our living space here and wish for a future in the Hotterloch for us, our children and our farm community with apprentices, interns and employees - together with our neighbors and the many people who feel connected to the farm and our community in various ways In the struggle for our future, we now see the time to tell you this. We still hope that in the end we will find a solution that is acceptable to us and our landlord and that is fair to both sides, so that we can continue to do what we are passionate about. Should the buildings of the farm and the associated 40 hectares no longer be available as a home, we will find a new home for ourselves and our herd and at least save the majority of the animals from slaughter. We will also continue to cultivate the approximately 100 hectares of meadows and fields that remain, so that we can at least offer you Demeter meat, grain and juice in the future.
