About us :
Our family business has changed a lot over the years. We started in 1905 as a small village cheese dairy, now we produce on the most modern systems and export to numerous countries around the world. And together with our around 450 employees, we are constantly developing new, creative ideas for our cheese specialties. But a few things have stayed the same. The milk still comes from surrounding farms. Our cheese makers still produce regional, natural and high-quality products with a lot of experience and passion. And still everything revolves around camembert for us - the basis for almost all of our products such as baked camembert, obazda and camembert cream. The secret of taste in good cheese is milk. That is why we use fresh alpine milk from the region. And that of the highest quality class. This comes from around 250 farms in the region - family businesses with an average of 40 cows. The furthest farm is just 50 km away as the crow flies. This is how we keep our transport routes short and the milk fresh. We maintain a fair, partnership-based relationship with our dairy farmers. Many have been working with us for generations. We pay an above-average milk price and offer support, advice and training on topics such as hygiene, animal welfare and legal regulations. The quality of the milk, but also of all other raw materials, is constantly checked by our laboratory. And that already with delivery. Our suppliers must have a GFSI certificate (IFS, BRC, FSSC 22000), otherwise they will be audited by us on a regular basis. The origin of all products must be traceable. There is also an annual evaluation of our suppliers.
