The success story of APOSTELS is impressive: Our founder came to Germany from Greece as a guest worker in the 1960s. In 1970 he opened the first APOSTELS bistro in the lively city center of Hanover. The popularity of Greek cuisine rose rapidly. The bistro quickly became a restaurant, which was followed by ten more restaurants throughout Hanover. The photos show memories of our restaurants in 1985. A product quickly became a long-running hit in restaurants: the tzatziki. The demand was so great that the home-made tzaziki was filled in the kitchens and guests took it home with them. The retail trade also became aware of the product. As the restaurant kitchens became too small, the company moved to Garbsen in 1992, where APOSTELS has been based ever since. Almost every supermarket chain in Germany has been supplied with the ZAZIKI from APOSTELS. Our light delicacies are used in German gourmet kitchens all year round and score points with every meal: yogurti with fresh fruit for breakfast, crispy salad with aioli dressing for lunch and hearty baked vegetables Zaziki in the evening. Our potato cream and sour cream also go perfectly with dishes with vegetables, potatoes or meat. An APOSTLES day to enjoy. Our motto is a quote from Hippocrates: "Our health depends on our diet".
