Eismanufaktur is still a very young company. It was founded in May 2009 after the takeover of Fischer Eis GmbH (an existing ice cream manufacturer) by the two new managing directors, Mr. Ray Meyer and Mr. Wolfgang Starke. The existing range was largely taken over and continued to be produced in Gelenau under the Fischer-Eis ® brand However, as this facility proved to be impractical after a relatively short period of time and no longer met the requirements of our quality awareness, the two managing directors decided to move production to Schönfeld, where we built a production facility in 2009/2010 that left nothing to be desired leaves. The production of our ice cream is still real manual work and has been optimized in the new property. The aim of the renovation of the new production facility was a production of the "short ways" in order to increase the quality of our products and also to take care of the well-being of our employees. In April 2010 our new production facility was put into operation and now produces for retailers, retail chains and Large-scale consumer ice cream of the best quality. In the 2010 season, our team produced, in addition to tubs and custom-made products, around 985,000 cups of ice cream. During the founding year, we put together a reliable and competent team that makes our customers' wishes about ice cream a reality. From 2011 to 2014/15 we successfully certified MI Cert. We have received the IFS certificate since May 2015.
