The founding of Neander Motorfahrzeuge GmbH in 2003 by Philipp Hitzbleck laid the foundation for our company today. The aim of the company was a small series of a turbodiesel motorcycle with a double crankshaft. Just two years later, the Neander, the world's first turbodiesel motorcycle, was registered for the first time. In 2006, the company was renamed NEANDER MOTORS AG. Just three years later - in 2009 - the Schmidt-Römhild Technology Prize was among other things proof the ingenuity of the idea through the then Schleswig-Holstein Minister for Science, Economy and Transport.
