About us :
Hi, I'm Susanne Müller, architect & media designer and 44spaces is my design studio and my manufactory. It all started in 2005. After a screen printing workshop, I really wanted to develop my own motifs. And because I love cities and love to travel, the first accessories were created with the Berlin, Vienna and New York skylines. (It also made sense for me as an architect and media designer to deal with my favorite cities) These were so popular that over 60 skylines of national and international cities have now been added. Since 2017 I have been mainly dealing with city maps. It all started with Google Maps - nothing is easier than getting lost in the maze of streets of strange and familiar cities with the app. I have found and refined a way to create my own plans. This enabled me to add a new dimension to my subject of city and landmark. I love to get lost in the corners of this world while doing this work. There are still so many places to discover! What defines all my products - they have been developed with great passion and created in the field of tension between home and cosmopolitanism, they satisfy the little longings between familiarity and wanderlust. 44spaces is 100% design in Berlin-Kreuzberg

The entire range comes from domestic production. For some product lines, I work closely with recognized workshops for the disabled and small craft businesses, mostly in Berlin. That is ecologically and economically important for me, because it makes the distances short and clear. 44spaces offers service for companies
