  • About us :

Toys have been manufactured in Bad Kösen for over 100 years. Käthe Kruse founded the company in 1911/12 as a doll workshop. The company focuses on the production of high-quality, natural-looking plush toys. Graduated designers create their own, unmistakable handwriting in order to develop new plush toys. The lifelike collection of Kösener plush toys, which have received many national and international design awards, is now one of the world's best plush toys. In 2000, the Munich brand ›Silke‹, a high-quality collection of rag dolls and soft toys for toddlers, was taken over. Only long-lasting natural materials from Europe of the highest quality are used for all of our products - true to the motto: for our children, stuffed animal lovers and collectors, the best is just good enough. Our entire range complies with the EN 71 safety standard and has the CE mark. The sustainability of our classic products can hardly be surpassed - all items are washable at 30 ° C, baby items even up to 60 ° C. Since October 2013, the Kösener Toys Manufaktur GmbH has been supplemented by a unique world of experience that is open daily to visitors and interested parties. In the Hotel "Mutiger Ritter" - a house with a tradition dating back to the 15th century, you can not only stay overnight, meet and celebrate, but also experience lavish balls in one of the salons or in the large ballroom. During the daily tours in the Gläserne Manufaktur you can marvel at the loving and elaborate production of plush toys. The in-house factory museum shows the company history spanning more than 100 years.
