When the brothers Michael and Stephan Landschutz had their first encounter with stool at the Hocktoberfest in 2006, the enthusiasm of the passionate all-round athletes was immediately aroused. When they returned home, the two product designers feverishly started building several prototypes to practice stooling themselves. It quickly became clear to them: We want to design and implement the world's first sports stool ready for mass production. The first idea quickly developed own concepts and innovations. Countless tests and trials and close cooperation with specialized manufacturers ultimately led to the realization of the world's first sports stool that was ready for series production. The brothers, who had long been infected with the stool virus themselves, founded the company SALZIG Sporthocker in 2007, which has received numerous awards and design prizes since then and which sells its stool range to a worldwide rapidly growing fan base of this new type of sport. It is precisely the many possible uses of the SALZIG sports stool as seating furniture and sports equipment in one that make the stool so unique. There are now hundreds of tricks for throwing, catching or balancing on the unbreakable SALZIG Sporthocker in a particularly cool way. This is how the sport of "stool" was born, which is now practiced nationwide by teams in competitions and at many events.
