Schoenenberger stands for top quality natural products. The traditional company was founded in 1927 by the pioneer of herbal medicine, the pharmacist Walther Schoenenberger, and has been part of the Salus group of companies since 1991. The company he founded has been producing these unique medicinal products with his knowledge for 90 years. Walther Schoenenberger (1901-1982) was already working with plant juices while studying pharmacy. He was convinced that a plant can only fully develop its healing properties through the interaction of the various ingredients. Secondary phytochemicals such as flavonoids and tannins are only found in their highest concentration in fresh plants. In his mother's kitchen, the pharmacist experimented with the gentle production of freshly squeezed vegetable juices. The use of preservatives was taboo because the juice should remain naturally pure. In 1927 Schoenenberger founded a sap plant near Stuttgart using the method he had developed, which still bears his name today. His working capital: an idea and his fiancée's savings book. Its first products included nettle, coltsfoot and hawthorn juice, and the company has remained true to this tradition to this day. At Schoenenberger, the focus is on the juice from the freshly squeezed plant. All medicinal herbal juices are natural, without any added sugar, alcohol, preservatives or other undesirable substances. This allows the active ingredients to develop fully. The range offers more than 30 fresh plant juices. There are also great-tasting fruit and vegetable juices - all of them organic. Schoenenberger is firmly rooted in Magstadt. Many organic raw materials for the fresh plant press juices are grown directly in the area. Together with a contract nursery, a regional cultivation concept was developed, which is continuously expanded in close cooperation and adapted to the latest knowledge in organic cultivation.
