This observation by our founder, Walter Rau, reads like an analysis of current environmental pollution. However, he formulated this as early as 1958. For him, this knowledge was motivation enough to develop natural cosmetics. Even today, our goal is to develop natural cosmetics that preserve and respect the health, vitality and natural beauty of every person. For this purpose, we process raw materials from controlled organic cultivation whenever available in quality and quantity. We work with natural fragrances, essential oils and preservation-free or with a natural preservation. We produce our plant extracts ourselves. Animal experiments are neither carried out nor commissioned. Our range extends from the classic, spicy, scented Speick Natural natural care to Speick Men or Speick Woman to the fruity-scented Speick Thermal cosmetics. Are there real stories behind our products? one of them is the exciting cultural history of the medicinal plant Speick (lat. Valeriana celtica). As a small, medium-sized family business, we have been producing in the Stuttgart area for 80 years? everything from a single source: from product development to shipping. We are one of the few German soap manufacturers. Since we do not want to leave every single production process to a machine, some production steps are still carried out by hand. When selecting our raw materials and packaging, ecological and social criteria play a decisive role for us. Basically, it is our concern to work together with partners from the region in order to avoid long transport routes, but also to strengthen the regional economic cycle.
