Marathon des Sables 2010
At one of the toughest ultramarathon events, the Marathon des Sables, the thoni mara textiles proved that they do not let their wearer down even under these difficult conditions. The two athletes Jutta Eis and Marco Lutz successfully mastered the 230km through desert sand and the enormous temperature fluctuations in the Moroccan Sahara (during the day> 45 degrees, at night up to 5 degrees). Both sent us their independent test report and it turned out to be very positive. Jutta wore a thoni mara shirt and Marco wore 3/4 pants and the thoni mara running cap. In contrast to their fellow travelers, neither of them had to struggle with odor-intensive shirts or chafed areas of skin.
