As early as 1933, the company's founder, Willy Hütter, set technical standards with his small company and began with the production of individual radio parts, which later became world-famous under the Dreipunkt brand. After the war, Willy Hütter was already producing entire kits and complete radio sets. The small business in Nuremberg slowly developed into a medium-sized company with 30 employees. From 1950 the product range was consistently further developed. For example, the colorful small radios from the Bambino brand were particularly popular and sold successfully all over the world. In the 1960s, the first taxi VHF radio intercom systems supplemented the range and a few years later Willy Hütter KG developed the first automatic wiper interval control for cars, which was sold in millions well into the 1980s in the 80s new products such as radio remote controls for garage doors. Industry-standard and codable radio controls for barriers and lighting systems as well as for use in security technology followed. Complete wireless alarm systems and systems were soon being built, and the area of alarm and security technology in particular was constantly being expanded with innovative products. Willy Hütter KG developed from the former radio manufacturer at the end of the 90s with the new additional designation Wireless Security Communication, which still produces its range in Germany today.
