Our craft roots go back to 1910. In that year Wilhelm Krieger, Kurt Krieger's grandfather, founded a joinery in Berlin Moabit. His specialty is the production of kitchen furniture, sideboards and kitchen chairs. Today, each of the 10 regional logistics centers has a carpentry workshop in order to be able to meet customer requirements on site. All Höffner furnishing centers have an exhibition space of approx. 40,000 m². The focus is not only on the huge selection of furniture in all price segments, combined with competent furnishing advice, but the customer is pampered with us:
In the restaurant with coffee and cake and in our Kuddeldaddeldu children's areas, the children are looked after so happily that they don't even want to go home. Every day, thousands of parcels are packed and dispatched in the company's own internet warehouse. 100,000 storage spaces ensure that the range is stocked.
The Krieger family can look back on a long tradition in the furniture industry. In 1910 Wilhelm Krieger, Kurt Krieger's grandfather, founded a carpentry shop in Berlin-Moabit on Huttenstrasse. The carpenter Rudolf Höffner started earlier in 1874 on the Veteranenberg in Berlin. The Höffner company developed into Berlin's largest furniture store in the 1930s. Since it is in East Berlin, it unfortunately had to close after World War II. 1967 Kurt Krieger - Wilhelm Krieger's grandson - bought the naming rights and started a new company with the Höffner company.
