  • About us :

Good design makes you happy. I am convinced of that from the bottom of my heart. Good design is sustainable, it touches the soul and creates an emotional quality - far beyond the obvious purpose of a product. Since 2009 I have been designing small and large lucky charms under the label renna deluxe. Many of my designs are individual pieces or personalized variants with a unique character. I often use material with a past such as discarded atlases and books that have long been read. I develop and manufacture my products in my studio in Wiesbaden. Small workshops in the immediate vicinity as well as in Hesse and Baden-Württemberg support me for sewing and metal work. Curiosity. I like to look behind things, to go deeper, to create connections. As a designer, I am interested in the most varied of materials and techniques with all their facets and interactions - hence the diversity of my collection and the difficulty in clearly defining my style to name. Poetic purism is perhaps best. My products are sensual and at the same time reduced to what is really necessary. I like breaks and contrasts and I love to put the familiar in a new context. I was fascinated by design from the cradle. My mother was a freelance artist, creativity and the joy of experimentation were omnipresent in our home. In 1991 I went to Weimar to study architecture and product design at the Bauhaus University. The years in Weimar - the cradle of modern product design - still influence my work today.
