1976 is Apple's year of birth. However, other successful brands were also founded this year. While Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak are working on their first computer in a garage in Silicon Valley, Michael Wagner is tinkering with his first office chairs in his father's small chair factory and in June founded TOPSTAR GmbH with his wife Christine unchecked rise the company will lay down for the next 20 years. Together with their operations manager Franz Gail and their 3 sons, they formed the company into one of the most innovative seating furniture manufacturers in the industry. Over 450 employees and chair enthusiasts develop and produce well over a million chairs per year at the Langenneufnach site. We haven't reinvented sitting, but we have made it much better! After 40 years of research, we have developed a patent that keeps people moving while sitting and is now used in millions of office chairs. The best designers are now developing chairs for us for almost every area of application and are now laying the foundation for our future generations, who will hopefully still will keep people moving for another 40 years and more - on chairs from TOPSTAR made in Germany.
