In October 2001 as a spin-off of the Nagler company from Dr. Founded by Wolfgang Baumann, ATB Automatentechnik Baumann has developed into a major manufacturer of service machines for parking space management and local public transport. Since taking over the products of the former company Klüssendorf, Berlin in 2001, we have continued the production of the tried and tested ticket validators and supply transport companies throughout Germany with the classic validators type 1887 (transverse stamp) and 1890 (longitudinal stamp). Our customers are international. Our parking ticket machines have been installed in various European markets up to North America and New Zealand. With around 7,000 installed devices (on-street parking) in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman), we are by far the market leader in this region. The further development of the machines for parking space management is in full swing. In addition to classic coin payment, banknotes and credit cards are optional payment systems. This means that our PPE can also be used in the so-called off-street area, where longer parking times are possible and higher fees are incurred. An important version is the application with a large display (touchscreen). Here we offer a solar-powered solution that also meets future market requirements Over the years, our portfolio has been expanded to include additional products. Based on the know-how in solar-powered energy supply, a solar street light was developed that is used in the area of footpaths and bike paths, parks and sports fields as well as bus stops and commuter parking spaces. Emergency pillars with defibrillators and surveillance cameras are also part of our product range. The vandal-proof, completely made of stainless steel housings are intended for the outdoor area. We have been the exclusive supplier of Deutsche Post for many years with post office box systems and secure storage units. As a family-run company, we have the necessary flexibility to competently respond to the wishes of our customers and provide individual solutions to offer. ATB is part of the Dr. Baumann group of companies with over 500 employees and 13 production sites.
