Share was founded in 2017 by Sebastian Stricker, Iris Braun, Ben Unterkofler and Tobias Reiner. About us :
Share was founded in 2017 by Sebastian Stricker, Iris Braun, Ben Unterkofler and Tobias Reiner. The idea builds on the donation initiative of the UN World Food Program ShareTheMeal, founded by Stricker. In March 2018, the first share products, consisting of water, nut bars and soap, were sold. In addition to the start in the online shop through a cooperation with Rewe and dm in over 5,000 branches in Germany. In its first year, share had a turnover of 10 million euros and it was the largest launch of a social consumer goods brand in Germany. In 2019, Bitburger Holding invested 1 million euros, and collaborations with Aral and Eurowings followed. Since the end of 2019 share has also been sold in dm, Merkur and Billa branches in Austria.Since 2020 share has been cooperating with Shell and Deutsche Bahn as sales partners, in June 2020 the brand was launched in dm branches in the Czech Republic and supports, among other things, the local food banks with food donations.
