In 155 years of company history, due to two world wars and other socially and politically determined circumstances, there have been ups and downs in the development of our organ building business. The good reputation of the Sauer instruments and an organ building concept based on Wilhelm Sauer helped to survive, even in the most difficult times. Today the company is managed by its own workforce. Michael Schulz (managing director) and master organ builder Thomas Lang (technical manager), as well as the old masters Peter Dohne and Peter Fräßdorf, who support the management, take care of the company's interests.
