    The Teka Group is a supplier of ovens, hobs, extractor hoods, refrigerators, dishwashers and other household appliances, as well as kitchen sinks made of stainless steel and other decorative materials. Kitchen and bathroom fittings are also produced in two plants in China and Hungary. Teka was founded in Haiger (Hesse) in 1924 as Thielmann und Klein (TK). As a result of various company acquisitions and international expansion, the headquarters of the Teka Group is now in Madrid, from where the 15 factories and over 30 sales companies in Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East are controlled. The Teka Group has a leading position as a kitchen supplier in some markets (Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, UAE). The activities for gastronomy (Küppersbusch Großküchentechnik) and sanitary products for gastronomy and public buildings are combined in two further business areas. Around 3600 employees work for Teka worldwide.
