Wohlhaupter GmbH is a company based in Frickenhausen in Baden-Württemberg. It was founded in 1929 by Emil Wohlhaupter in the field of mold and tool making. Today Wohlhaupter is known worldwide as a manufacturer of innovative, modular tool systems for machining centers and turning / milling centers, face and boring heads, grooving heads, clamping tools and customer-specific solutions for bore machining "Wohlhaupter" called facing and boring head (UPA), which today still generates approx. 1% of sales. With its modular "system tool" MultiBore, Wohlhaupter is the world leader in the boring tool sector. In 1944 the company headquarters were relocated to Frickenhausen and in 1987 they moved into a new building.
