The German mechanical engineering company Arburg GmbH + Co KG is a company of the Hehl and Keinath families and, with its electric, hybrid and hydraulic plastic injection molding machines, turnkey systems and its industrial additive manufacturing system, is one of the industry leaders worldwide. With around 2,650 employees in Germany and a further 550 worldwide, Arburg serves sales markets for machines with clamping forces from 125 to 6,500 kN. The machines are used in the production of plastic parts, for example in the automotive industry, communication and entertainment electronics, medical technology, household appliances and in the packaging industry. In addition, modular robotic systems and machine peripherals are produced. Arburg is represented with its own units in 25 countries at 35 locations and through trading partners in more than 50 countries. The central production and administration location is Loßburg in the northern Black Forest, other German locations are the "technology centers" in Radevormwald and Rednitzhembach.
