    Shahrood Cement Company was founded in 1363 with an equivalent of one hundred and forty million rials and after the completion of the initial studies in 1365, it managed to obtain the principle agreement for the production of 2300 tons of Portland gray cement per day.

    Line one:
    The factory is located in the Wide Area Valley in the northwest, 12 km from Shahrud. The height of the construction site of the Shahrood Cement Factory is 1570 m above sea level and the rainfall in the area is 202 mm per year. The temperature is between + 43 ° C and -18 ° C and relative humidity is 50%.
    The contracts of machinery line 1 of production with foreign companies started from the winter of 1366 (Cement Materials and Cement Company with the German company Scott) and were concluded by the end of 1995 (electricity contract with the companies of Alpro Germany and Merlengern, France).
    Construction operations of the first line production structures began in 1370 and were completed in 1996.
    Approximately 17% of the construction works inside the Shahrood Cement Project (1,300 tons) were made at the factory's refurbishment workshops, and about 23% of the machinery installation (1800 tons) was safely carried out by the mechanical unit of Shahroud Cement Company. Finally, the line of a Shahrood cement factory was launched in April 1998.
    The number of personnel employed in Shahrood Cement Company is 345 people.
    The electricity required by the 15 MW plant is supplied by a 230 KW substation located south of Shahrud city and about 17 kilometers from the factory site.
    Water is supplied through a deep well with a flow rate of 55.5 m / s and a distance of 2 km east of the factory, as well as through a series of aqueducts in the western part of the factory with a discharge rate of 60 liters per second, which is water for development projects in Shahrood Cement Co. also satisfies.
    The company's raw materials such as marl, limestone, and clay are in immediate proximity to the factory and at a distance of up to 1500 meters. Gypsum is required from the company at a distance of 45 km and the required iron ore is supplied from the Semnan drainage mines at a distance of 140 km from Shahrood Cement Factory.
    75% of the fuel of Shahrood Cement Plant is natural gas and 25% of it is Mazut.
    The type of cement produced in Shahrood Cement Company is Gray Type 2 and Grade 5 and has been standardized for both types. The percentage of mixing of raw materials for the production of gray cements of types 2 and 5 is as follows:
    - Marl 86-95%
    - Limestone -0.8%
    Iron ore 1 / 3-8 / 1%
    - Gypsum is about 4%

    The implementation of the second line of Shahrood Cement was started in 1380, and in 2003, Shahrood Cement obtained the principle agreement for the production of 3400 tons of gray type cements of type 2 and subsequently types 325-1, 425-1, 3 and 5 with a production capacity of 990000 tons of clinker per year It turned out
    The second line of the Shahroud Cement is constructed with a 26,000-square-meter infrastructure adjacent to Line 1, and its machinery contracts with foreign companies (Germany-Denmark) from April 2004 (HAZEMAG SANDER, MVT Soil Shedule, Asia Materials, Furnace and FLS Cement, Silos CCP materials and cement, AUMUND clinker silos, H & B loading bin, concluded.
    Construction operations of the production line structures were carried out by the contractors of Samarah, Soliran, Zinqo, Pishang Novin, Fanavar Fan and parts manufacturing companies by Tico Companies, Abic Machine, Iran Machining, Hadid, Mangan, Exxon Sazeh, Rawahdar Kavian and Biofilter. .

    The required electricity is 21 MW, and is supplied from 230 KW (located south of Shahrud). Water and materials needed to produce Line II cement also come from the existing sources of line one.
