The main center of this company is located in Tehran, but the factory is located in ilam. In june 2003, legal entity of ilam cement company was transformed from joint stock company to public stock company, and in October 2003, it was accepted in Tehran bourse and worthy paper organization.
The stocks of this company were traded for the first time in November 2003, major shareholders of ilam cement company as follows: Tehran cement (50.41 percent of stock), omid investment management company (46.97 percent of stock) , Goharan Omid development management company (1.4 percent of stock), and other shareholders with 1.22 percent of stock.
Company activity briefly based on statute is as follows: the establishment of cement factories and their secondary industries, production of materials and machinery required for the cement industry, exploration, exploitation of all mines required for the cement industry.
production line 1 was started in , june 1998, with capacity of 2000 tons per day (600,000 tons per annual). In october 2002, implementation of ilam cement company development project was approved with capacity of 3300 tons per day with 23% shares of ilam cement company and 77% shares of Sepah Bank.
in april 2010, the second production line of cement company getting started with the operation of this line, the capacity of clinker production of this company increased from 2000 tons to 5300 tons per day. (1500.00 tons annual)
