In order to fulfill the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran's plans to cut dependence on wheat and rice imports and reduce long-term storage losses and to help regulate the potato market, Bahfam Powder Bonab Co. was established in 1998 as the first producer of fried potatoes. Frozen Freeze was established in Iran and in Bonab city of East Azarbaijan province with private investment. In 1999, it imported its production and packaging machinery from the Netherlands and Italy, and later that year, after installation and commissioning, with the supervision of European experts, received a license from the Ministry of Industry and Construction from the Ministry of Health. , Medical education and training has practically begun its mass production as the first and largest producer of all kinds of frozen semi-fried potato products and potato substitutes (semi-ready potatoes).
Befam has always strived to ensure the satisfaction of its customers with the use of up-to-date manufacturing and quality management knowledge, and to continually improve its performance in its 14-year career. It is our belief that sustaining and advancing more and more requires the establishment of a powerful and dynamic quality system. For this purpose, as one of the pioneers of the establishment of a quality management system in the food industry, in 1994, ISO adopted the standard ISO9002: 1994 and, over the following years, upgraded the system to ISO 9000 series standards.
