A number of graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the pursuit of a professional and national mission, with a firm belief in the priority of quality of medicine in the health system, established the Pharmaceutical Company Pharmaceuticals Day in 1943, 1963. Since 2001, the company has become a private equity company.
Day of Drug Company was first started in a small environment and due to rapid growth in the production of pharmaceutical products, the first production site was erected in the east of Tehran. In 1998, in order to increase the demand for pharmaceutical products and to meet the new standards of GMP, the second factory in west of Tehran was opened in an area of 45,000 square meters in a suitable location, with a building close to 8,000 square meters with green space Enjoyment is surrounded. Also, in 2011, a third factory in west of Tehran was used to make edible cephalosporins.
Currently, Pharmaceutical Company is one of the largest and most prominent pharmaceutical companies in Iran in the production of pharmaceutical forms of tablets, capsules, powders, some herbal products and oral and cephalosporins.
