In the early 2001s, statistics was evident that regarding steel country was noticeably dependent on importing. In other words, upcoming fourth development plan and programmed projects for the next years were indicators of increase of per capita consumption in steel.In this respect, necessity of increase in steel production capacity was apparent. According to above-mentioned matters, this company established in 2003 and started its operational activities in the early 2005s.As company management had acted selectively for choosing of machineries, sellers and contractors, fortunately, in the beginning of 2008 this project completed and exploitation of phase one of Jahan Foulad Gharb complex with the capacity of 300,000 Mt of Iron bar, angle iron and pipe commenced.By producing of high quality products and competitive prices this operational unit got its standard certificate from standard and industrial research organization. Jahan Foulad Gharb complex is constructed in 60 hectares of land for development of the next phases. It is one of iron beam producers in Iran which was inaugurated without special investment and financial support of the government. In the near future and by using of production plan of spongy iron, it can produce its own raw material and there is no need to import steel ingot.
