Seyed Sadegh Sabzevari was born in 1924 and he is known as the founding father of sewing machine manufacturing business in Iran. Shortly after he was born, his family moved Iraq. At that time, Mr. Sabzevari’s father had the distribution rights of Husqvarna which was a well-respected brand. From youth he started working with his father’s in sales and service whilst finishing his education in religious studies and only a short while after, Mr. Sabzevari had been known as an influential entrepreneur. Despite numerous requests by the Iraqi official to settle in the country, his sense of patriotism always prevented him to make such decision.
By 1960s and as the Ba’ath party grew in Iraq, it was increasingly difficult for non-Iraqi national to live and work in the country and therefore Mr. Sabzevari made the decision to move back to Iran with his family. This meant starting all over again; but with his passion and dedication, Mr. Sabzeari re-established himself and his sewing machine business to sell 24,000 units a year and to become the largest seller in the county.From the very beginning, Kachiran had a vision to be a key global player and export its products all over the world. In 1998, a commercial department was established with the company to research the markets in all continents. High quality products and services meant that Kachiran quickly managed to get the attention of foreign companies and within a few years its products were exported to more than 35 countries around the world.
One of key contributing factors to this success was Kachiran’s assembly line in Germany which not only brought added credibility for the company but also meant that now even the most remote and vast countries like Russia was now within easy reach.
