Beemster nettle

Beemster nettle, a pleasantly fresh cheese with a subtle herbal aroma that goes perfectly with the fine taste of cheese. From happy cows made from 100% grass-fed milk, because all Beemster farmers have been receiving pasture premiums since 2002. 10 year anniversary in 2012.

The cheese matured naturally for about 5 weeks in the maturing warehouse on spruce planks. The cheese curd is still traditionally stirred with genuine craftsmanship in open tubs. For real enjoyment.
Beemster has a very typical, very creamy texture: it melts on the tongue.
