Beemster meesterkee (master selection)

Matured naturally for more than 1 year in the maturing warehouse on spruce planks
Contains significantly less salt than other cheeses.
Beemster has a very typical, very creamy texture: it melts on the tongue.
The master selection is made according to a special master recipe by cheese master Pieter ter Beek.
It is only made from the spring milk of the year. From the beginning of April, the Beemster dairy farmers will start letting their cows out on the pasture again. On the seafront, newly greened polder pastures of North Holland.
There the cows eat fresh grass and from this the real spring milk is produced.

Limited edition of 3,500 pieces and only available for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
