The organic premium original mountain cheese is traditionally made from the purest organic hay milk and carefully matured in the natural rind to full maturity. On the lush green pastures of our organic farmers, the cows enjoy fresh grass in summer and sun-dried hay in winter. And this organic hay milk gives the cheese its wonderfully tasty and spicy character.
The scent is dominated by cream, malt, toasted white bread, peanuts and hay. On the palate, the compact dough delights with a smooth mouthfeel. This opens up a spectrum of aromas from sweetish cream to cocoa, light caramel and chestnuts.
