The Bregenzerwald hiking cheese made from silo-free fresh milk is particularly characterized by its aromatic to piquant taste. The fine, smooth cheese dough has even hazelnut-sized holes.
It is the ideal snack cheese, perfect for cheese platters and, thanks to its excellent melting properties and natural rind, is also ideal for au gratin and au gratin.
Tip: Take the cheese out of the fridge 30 minutes before enjoying it and serve at around 18 °C. We recommend crusty bread and a Grüner Veltliner from the Retzer Land, Weinviertel/Austria.
