The real Schnifner Laurentius spicy
The real Schnifner Laurentius piquant is a semi-hard semi-hard cheese with a natural rind. Laurentius is "poem from a cheese" with a unique taste. The famous namesake is "Laurentius von Schnuffis" (1633-1702), probably the most important baroque poet in Austria, who was at home in Schnifis.
With its smoothness and its spicy aroma, it seduces every palate.
The fragrance spans a beautiful arc from milk and sour space to flower meadows and light caramel. Milky aromas with an almost sweet appeal delight the palate, complemented by malt, roasted peanuts and acacia honey. Equally appealing is the compact, plump texture of the cheese.
