Made from fresh grass and hay milk, the creamy, mild Emmental with its fine, nutty aroma is one of the classic cheeses. The large holes are particularly typical of the Emmental. The finely flavored cheese has a firm consistency and the dough color is ivory to light yellow. Aged for at least 5 months.
This cheese has a scent of walnut, cream and light caramel. These aromas can also be found on the palate, along with young wood and citrus fruits. Together with the tender, compact dough, a youthful, fresh cheese experience is created.
