A hard cheese of a special kind is this cheese lump, which has been matured for at least 3 months and is suitable for grating, rasping and slicing. As a seasoning cheese with a breading of spices such as turmeric, curry and ginger, it is particularly suitable for refining dishes such as oriental curry, rice dishes or fish. Grated onto hot dishes, it becomes creamy and gives every dish the final touch. For us, DIE KÄSEMACHER, Granitbeißer is the Waldviertel’s answer to Parmesan.
