The Lombardo from Argental

This cheese goes back to an ancient tradition from the valleys of Lombardy in Italy. It is made in the north of the Camonica Valley, a region traditionally used for cattle breeding.
The cheese is made from pasteurized cow's milk. Its paste is mild, firm and supple. It has no holes and is straw yellow in colour. The bark is thin. The cheese develops delicate flavors with characteristic yoghurt and butter aromas.
