SALTED RICOTTA "SEASONED" LAIB approx. 3KG

Produced in Sardinia.
The name means "salted ricotta". A product that has been popular since ancient times. Ricotta salata has a whitish, fairly firm paste obtained from sheep's whey and has a delicate taste. A light, sweetish-milky note unfolds in the aftertaste, subtly salty.
Ideal for preparing small snacks between meals or grated on pasta dishes or in soups. As a filling in pasta or Mediterranean quiches.
Crumbles over summer or watermelon salad.
