Wiegand Sensor

Zero power consumption sensor is composed of a special processing dual-stable state alloy wire with magnetic sensitivity function and induction coil wrapped around it. Its operating principle is: In the alternating magnetic field, when one magnetic field (such as N pole) that is parallel to the sensitive silk reaches the strength which can trigger the magnetic induction, the magnetic domain will occur movement when it’s motivated, the magnetization direction will immediate change into the same direction, and at the same time the immediate change occurs in the magnetic field around the sensitive silk, then a electrical pulse produced in the induction coil. After that if the magnetic field falls, the magnetization direction of the sensitive silk will maintain constant, and no electrical pulse outputs from the induction coil; when the opposite polarity (S pole) magnetic field becomes stronger enough to trigger magnetic induction, the magnetization direction of the sensitive silk will instant reverse, and an electrical pulse in opposite direction is produced from the induction coil. The course will be repeated, and the zero power consumption sensor will transform the magnetic signal of alternating magnetic field into positive and negative electrical signal. The zero power consumption sensor needn't additional power supply when it works.
