Product overview: chemical oxygen demand (COD) refers to the oxygen mass concentration of oxidants consumed when oxidizing organic and inorganic reducing substances in water samples with strong oxidants under certain conditions. COD is also an important indicator to reflect the degree of pollution of water by organic and inorganic reducing substances.

The product principle
Water, potassium dichromate digestion solution, silver sulfate solution (silver sulfate as a catalyst to join can more effectively straight-chain fatty compound oxide) and sulfuric acid mixture is heated to 165 ℃, dichromate ion oxide solution of organic matter after color change, monitor to detect the changes in color, and the conversion this change into COD value of output, consumption amount of dichromate ion equivalent of oxidizable organic matter content, namely, COD.
