sound insulation

One of the common problems in today's societies is noise pollution. Today, sound insulation is used not only in industrial sectors, but also in administrative and domestic sectors, so that in developed countries, one of the property valuation criteria, in addition to its thermal insulation, is the sound insulation of that property. Although this issue is addressed seriously in advanced and developed countries, unfortunately, it is more important in Iran, especially in the administrative and residential sectors, due to controlling and reducing some costs in construction operations and achieving more profit. In order to solve this problem, a covering called sound insulation should be used on the walls, ceiling, floor, etc., so that the transmitted sound to the surrounding environment can be significantly reduced.

What is sound insulation or sound insulation?
In order to reduce sound and deal with transmission sound (reducing noise pollution) from one environment to another, a cover should be used, which is called sound insulation. STI's self-adhesive sound absorbing foam insulations, benefiting from the latest technology in the world (Cell Closed), play an important role in reducing transmitted sounds to the surrounding environment. STI sound insulations are the newest and most modern generation of sound absorbing insulations in the world (in industrial and construction uses for shared walls, ceilings, floors, etc.) and are very desirable and efficient in terms of quality.
It is worth mentioning that in terms of sound absorption and reduction in the design and construction of buildings and structures, two very important issues are important, which are mentioned below:
A) How to absorb sound and transmitted sound (chosen sound insulation type)
b) Using the best materials and materials in the construction of buildings (walls, roofs, floors, etc.)
In general, the research conducted in the field of sound insulation indicates that the use of 2 to 5 cm thick sound insulation with modern technology is very effective in reducing sound transmission, and with about 2% more cost in the building during construction, in addition to sound absorption, it is possible to save more than 80% in energy consumption (preventing energy leakage from external walls). According to research conducted by a European company, nearly 33% of people who are exposed to noise pollution in residential environments (noise pollution caused by people, neighbors, crowded parties and public speakers) suffer from stress and sleep disorders, which can last up to two years. 10% of all these people may have permanent and lifelong disorders. In the UK, 1.8 million people have complained of having a noisy neighbor, with nearly 7% suffering permanent disturbances.
