Semi-welded heat exchanger (TAHA-SW)

Semi-welded heat exchangers (Semi-welded PHE) of Taha Tom TGT Co. Known as the TAHA-SW series, it consists of a pair of grooved plates that are welded together on one side and sealed with a gasket on the other side. Just like gasketed plate heat exchangers, pairs of plates or so-called cassettes (Cassette) are pressed together by a rigid frame and screws. This type of design is very suitable for the flow of corrosive fluids in the channel of the welded plates and in contact with the ring gaskets in the port part of the unwelded plates. The advantage of this type of heat exchanger compared to the all-welded type is easy disassembly and the possibility of increasing their capacity. The working temperature range in this type of converters is -47 to 170 degrees Celsius, and depending on the size, the pressure is up to 40 bar. The special designs of this type of heat exchangers are very suitable for condensation and evaporation processes of water vapor. Semi-welded plate heat exchangers can also be used for refrigeration cycles. This type of heat exchanger has the ability to handle most refrigerants on the welding side and is especially recommended for ammonia applications.
